Rose Mount is a supported living resource that provides accommodation and support in a warm and homely environment. The support and activities offered at Rose Mount is designed to improve the outcomes for people whose lives have been affected by Mental Health Disorder or Learning Disabilities. Rose mount has strong values of integrity, positivity, respect and quality and delivers care through these values by supporting people to live full lives with dignity and respect.

We are a trusted and well-respected care service providing safe, reliable care to people in the heart of Derby. Our professional staff team are highly trained and dedicated carers who take the time to listen and support individuals in a safe environment, promoting personal choice and independence.

We have a professional and dedicated staff team who are specifically trained to deliver compassionate focussed interventions that offers, person centred enabling support, one-to-one time, individual choice and control.  We believe that every individual has the right to live a fulfilled life. Rose Mount is built on an Inclusive Recovery Premise that living is all about community where the wider determinants of people’s health is the main focus and where promoting that sense of belonging and togetherness are essential.  We will not place limits on how far we will go to give our residents the opportunity to achieve a great, responsible, healthy, happy and fulfilled life.

Our aim is to help strengthen our service users’ confidence so they can feel that they too are valued citizens and belong to their community by:

  • Encouraging involvement with walking groups, relevant courses of choice and recreational activities
  • Encouraging and supporting the preparation of fresh, tasty and healthy diets of choice
  • Encouraging residents to eat more vegetables and at least a fruit of choice daily
  • Supporting residents to enjoy their meals and are happy to join in with the companionship of others
  • Encouraging residents to practise their religion of choice
  • Ensuring that residents are supported to properly manage their physical, psychological and mental health
